Comedy Central roasts usually hover the line between controversial and just plain offensive. And the roast of Justin Bieber proved to be no exception!
During the taping of the pop prince’s roast (which will air March 30) jokes made about the late actor Paul Walker were so crass that Comedy Central has decided to cut them from the broadcast!
So what were they? Want a sample to shake your head at?
Veteran roaster Jeff Ross compared Bieber’s driving skills to Walker’s, jabbing:
“‘Move bitch, get out of the way!’ is what Paul Walker should’ve told that tree. Too soon? Too fast? Too furious?”
The audience was reportedly mortified at the reference to The Fast and Furious star’s death-resulting car crash on Nov. 30, 2013.
Rapper Ludacris, who was Walker’s friend and cast member in the Fast movies, was visibly outraged, and even motioned to cut during the taping!

A Comedy Central rep had this to say about their decision to cut the insensitive joke:
“Roasts often push the limits of good taste and we give the participants full rein to try things knowing we have the edit to shape the show. Sometimes the line is discovered by crossing it. The Paul Walker references will not be in the telecast.”
When asked if Ross thought his jokes went too far, the comedian simply stated:
“I was so in the moment, I don’t know what jokes hit.”
We trust that Comedy Central made the right decision to cut the tasteless joke. After all, the special will still have plenty of Bieber-targeted punch lines that we can’t wait to hear!
