Slate. Wiped. Clean!
That’s the hope for director Peter Berg, who’s had a tough week on Instagram.
First, he posted a controversial meme on his page regarding Caitlyn Jenner and her ESPYS Award, comparing her negatively to American soldiers.

Then, a photo agency asked Berg to take down his transphobic meme — not because of money over their rights to the picture, they told us in an exclusive, but because they didn’t agree with the hateful message Berg sent.
Berg had a Friday deadline to remove that image, and he complied, deleting it from the web to try to put the whole issue behind him!
About the ordeal, Berg told reporters:
“I deleted it because I am deeply saddened over the rage and hatred on both sides it is responsible for.”
No kidding.
As transphobic as his initial message might have been, at least, in the end, Berg did the right thing. Hopefully he learned a lesson about respecting all people as they are!
