Prince Harry was sitting around in Cape Town (the best name for a city in the world), waiting through a storm for weather to clear so he could fly to Antarctica and walk to the South Pole for wounded soldiers.
We like to think that as soon as there was a break in the weather, and the sun shined through, he ripped off his shirt and SWAM the rest of the way to he continent!
That didn’t happen, but he DID get out of Cape Town, and has begun his journey!
He and his teammates for the Walking with the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge landed in Antarctica and immediately began making their way towards Novo Airbase.
This will help them acclimate to the weather, so they can handle their 200 mile walk! TWO HUNDRED MILES!
He and his team aren’t the only ones going, remember — three seven-man teams from the U.K., the U.S., Australia and Canada are racing, and one of them includes Alexander Skarsg├â┬Ñrd!
