Rare Tiger Cubs Born At D.C.'s National Zoo!

There are literally less than 500 Sumatran tigers left in the wild!

So every time a Sumatran tiger is born, it’s a seriously special event!!

Washington, D.C.’s National Zoo is now celebrating the birth of two rare Sumatran tiger cubs!

The zoo’s great cats curator said:

“All I can do is smile. The team has realized our goal of producing critically endangered tiger cubs.”

So AH-mazing they’re doing their part to help save an endangered species!

Sadly, the cutie little cubs won’t be on exhibit until later this year.

So if you’re jonesing for some tiger cub action├óΓé¼┬ª there’s footage!!

Check out the video (above) of the little newborn baby tigers!!!
