Although he played a sexy vampire in the Twilight series, Robert Pattinson reminds us he’s merely human.
In an interview with The Times published on Monday, the 29-year-old reveals that the six-pack he had in the hit franchise is incredibly difficult to maintain.
Surprisingly, the British babe is glad that Hollywood is such a vain industry. Without an emphasis on looks, he’d completely let himself go!

The Map To The Stars actor confessed:
“I’m so glad about the vanity required in this job because if I didn’t have to stay in shape, I’d be such a fat ass.”
When Pattinson was younger, he could get away with exercising just weeks before a role.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore:
“It used to be that I could start working out four weeks before a job and it would be totally fine. Now? Nothing happens. You just beat your body into submission.”
In fact, the thespian says he had to vacation in an extremely secluded location in fear that paparazzi would snap photos of his less-than-stellar physique.
“What the f*** is going on? I had to go on holiday to an extravagant secret location this year because I was afraid of someone photographing my gut.”
We applaud Robert’s honesty, and we hope other celebs speak up about the movie industry’s obsession with beauty!
