Don’t believe all the women and local witnesses and law enforcement officers who have said Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore was a serial predator who went after underage girls?
Believe him!
In his book, Moore describes the first time he met his wife, Kayla. He was 37, and she was 23; they were at a Christmas party thrown by mutual friends.

But that wasn’t the first time he SAW her. No, also in his book he recalls the magic moment he first took notice of his future wife, long before then, writing:
“Many years before, I had attended a dance recital at Gadsden State Junior College. I remembered one of the special dances performed by a young woman whose first and last names began with the letter ‘K.’ It was something I had never forgotten. Could that young woman have been Kayla Kisor?”
And it was. How sweet.
Um… Except…
Did he say “many years before”?
Yep. In an interview on the Legality show, he retells the story:
“I saw her at a dance recital, and I was standing over in the back of the auditorium and I saw her up front, and I remember her name, it was Kayla Kiser… KK…”
And gives it context with their first meeting:
“…but I remembered that and I didn’t meet her there I left and it was oh gosh eight years later or something when I met her and when she told me her name I remembered KK… and I said ‘Haven’t I met you before?'”
So by “many years” he meant eight. Eight years. Let’s do some simple math here, and… 23 minus 8… carry the one…
Yeah, his wife was 15. He was 29.

He said the recital was at a junior college which makes it sound like she was a student there, but she was apparently only an underclassman in high school. He was a grown man standing in the back of an auditorium watching a high school dance recital and never forgot what he saw.

Oh, and if you were thinking, wouldn’t she be around the same age as some of his accusers?
Funny old world… she IS right around the same age. In fact, that yearbook Moore signed to Beverly Young Nelson?
HIS WIFE IS ALSO IN IT!!!
They went to the same high school!
He is alleged to have signed the yearbook in 1977, which is less than a year after he would have first seen Kayla do her dance, according to his own timeline.
We mean, how much more do Alabama voters need???
