Simon Cowell is a surprisingly honest person, believe it or not.
He may seem hard on the outside, but inside he’s a gooey pile of baby love!
The first-time papa is absolutely smitten with his 8-month-old son Eric — even if he isn’t very ‘hands-on!’
When talking about caring for the son he shares with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, he said:
“I’m going to be honest ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I’m not exactly a hands-on dad. I want to fast forward a few years so I can take him go-karting and then introduce him to women. I’m probably in a far better position to be a father now than I would have been 10 years ago. That’s the way I’d look at it. And at the end of the day we have really great nannies that are bloody amazing, so I don’t have to worry.”
Wow, that’s super honest.
He clearly loves his baby, and loves being a dad to little Eric but when it comes to changing dirty diapers?

As long as it doesn’t all fall to Lauren, we guess we’re okay with that!
