While we doubt she’ll be giving us any tips inside the mag on how to get our locks just like hers, the Modern Family starlet did open up about her upcoming nuptials to Joe Manganiello.
We’re so ready to sip on this tea├óΓé¼┬ª
Speaking about wedding planning, Sofia revealed:
“The decisions for the wedding are mostly mine, but Joe loves to be part of everything. He’s very romantic so he likes, you know, he lets me pick and he lets me choose, but he likes to watch what I’m doing.”
She doesn’t go into many more details in regards to her November nuptials in Florida, but she did share the goal, saying:
“What I want is for everybody to have a good time, to not to feel like they have to be very stuffy or like, moving from place to place. It’s going to be very simple for everybody, hopefully a lot of good food and good music.”
That’s one ceremony we’d love to be at! Sounds like it’s going to be a real party!
But it’s crazy to think that all this might not even be happening if she hadn’t given Joe a shot! When he asked her out, she confessed:
“I didn’t want to go out with him for a long time because I thought he was too good-looking. Like, it’s too much work, and I’m older. I’m 43 years old. I don’t want to deal with a guy that every girl is after, you know? But then I gave him a chance. I realized he’s not like a typical handsome guy. He’s not vain. He’s very serious, very straightforward, very easy.”
True love?? Gah!
We couldn’t be happier for this couple!
Though their relationship hasn’t been completely perfect, as Sofia has been dealing with a lawsuit filed by her ex Nick Loeb.
So while she doesn’t “think it’s going to go anywhere,” has it affected her decision to have children in the future??
She divulged:
“I’m really borderline at my age to do it. And if I’m going to do it, I would need a surrogate. I have a fibroid. I don’t even feel it, but supposedly it’s exactly where an egg would get implanted. I don’t have enough eggs left to mess around and try it naturally and see what happens. I’ll need help. But I don’t mind it’s fine.”
Looks like time will only tell if she and Joe will have little kiddies of their own!
And on a random note, Sofia shared the one piece of advice she would give her younger self would be:
“The advice I would give my 20-year-old self is that I should always wear the things that I know look good on me. I should never try to be a victim of fashion. Sometimes people tweet, ‘Why is she always in the same kind of mermaid dresses?’ Well it’s because that’s what looks good on me. It holds my boobs. There are many dresses that are spectacular on a model, but I can’t pull them off. I wear what’s right for me.”
That sounds like something we can all learn from!
