Well this is inneresting!
We caught up with Sophie Simmons (above) last night at The Matt Leinart Foundation‘s Ninth Annual “Celebrity Bowl” at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood and she did not hold back with her opinions! Loves it!
We asked about her reaction to Caitlyn Jenner‘s speech she gave at the ESPYS and based on Sophie’s manager and friend’s — Jessica Steindorff — recent involvement in Jenner’s car accident, she had a much different answer than you might expect!
Simmons definitely believes that Caitlyn needs to take responsibility for her actions and apologize. She also shares with us how she believes the recent ESPY winner can make the situation better and lets us know whether or not she’ll tune into catch I Am Cait!

But the excitement doesn’t stop there as we also chatted with the host of the evening (below), Heisman Trophy winner and Fox Sports analyst, Matt Leinart!
Compared to Sophie, he had a much different view of Jenner’s speech and was really supportive, and also talked to us about the effect on the sports community! Matt let us know his thoughts on Jenner deserving the award and what he learned about the issues in the trans community through Caitlyn!
