Stacey Dash Claims Her Husband & His 'Awful Children' Conspired To Get Her Arrested!

As we reported, the Clueless star was arrested for domestic violence at her Florida home over the weekend after allegedly hitting her husband of one year, Jeffrey Marty. When cops arrived at the scene, they found scratches on Marty’s arms, which — along with statements from his kids — got Dash arrested and booked for assault.

But now, the former Fox News contributor is telling her side of the story — and she says Marty and his three kids conspired to have her arrested to cover up HIS brutality!

Wait, what!?

According to TMZ, the actress called 911 on Sunday claiming any aggressiveness on her part was in self-defense, because her husband allegedly put her in a chokehold and she had to fend him off.

The mother-of-two alleged her hubby coached his 15, 14, and 10-year-old children to lie for him, claiming she was the one who assaulted him instead. Dash went on to claim she did not inflict the scratches on Marty’s arms, claiming he faked his own injuries and took photos to back up his allegedly false story.

The actress said on the call that because her husband is a lawyer, he knows exactly what to tell his “awful children” to help sell his story. As for her own legal counsel, Dash reportedly asked to be repped by a public defender in her case — because she’s apparently too broke to get her own lawyer!

TMZ reports the 52-year-old claimed she’s indignant in the legal filing, meaning she doesn’t have enough money to hire a private attorney. The judge signed off on a public defender for her so she could be repped if charges are filed — as long as she shows proof she needs financial aid.

Dash and Marty tied the knot in Florida last spring, a whopping 10 days after they first met. At the time, the noted Republican’s manager, Kerry Jones, told Page Six the lovebirds wanted to keep their sudden ceremony “on the D.L. [down low],” and reportedly did not know how or when they met, nor why the wedding was so low-key.

This is Dash’s fourth marriage. The star was previously married to producer Brian Lovell from 1999 to 2005; she then married exec James Maby from 2005 to 2006; then from 2007 – 2011 was married to actor Emmanuel Xuereb.
