Susan Sarandon Calls Out Sexism In Those Saying She Should Vote For Hillary Clinton Just Because She's A Woman!

Well, we really know who Susan Sarandon supports this election season!
The film star sat down with Entertainment Weekly this week to discuss politics and feminism, and she had some inneresting things to say about Hillary Clinton

The Bull Durham star — who is no stranger to controversy surrounding her chosen candidate, Bernie Sanders — talked frankly about how she refuses to vote for Hill just because of the woman-to-woman connection.
Sarandon spoke quickly when EW asked about whether it’s sexist to believe a woman should be supporting Clinton:

“Yes, of course. It’s sexist to imagine that a woman is doing anything based on her gender. I mean, you have the right to choose everything. I think it really does women a disservice to think they would be influenced by gender and not the issues.”

In that, Sarandon makes a pretty decent point — she acknowledges that if she were to vote for Hillary just because the candidate is a woman, then Sarandon probably should have been supporting Sarah Palin for the same reasons!
And we know THAT is a major no-no.

Gotta give her a little credit, she doesn’t hold back and she owns who she supports!
