Taylor Swift DID Reveal The Name Of Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds' Third Daughter!

Never underestimate Taylor Swift fans!

Amid the discovery of Easter eggs and more hidden meanings behind the songs and lyrics of the singer’s Folklore album, Swifties speculated she outed a very private detail concerning her BFFs.

Three of the tracks featured on the new project detail a “Teenage Love Triangle,” as described by the 30-year-old. Cardigan reveals the point of view of Betty, while her story is told by James on the song Betty, and lastly, Inez chimes in with her POV for August. If you’ve started to connect the dots, just like her followers did, James and Inez are the names of two of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds‘ daughters. Their third, who was born supposedly in August or September 2019 (we’re guessing the former considering the name of the song!), didn’t have her famous moniker revealed.

So, would it be farfetched to think it might just be Betty? Apparently not!

A People source actually confirmed Tay named the song after the couple’s youngest daughter!

It’s not exactly a huge surprise considering Swift has expressed her adoration for the Reynolds children, even using James’ voice on Gorgeous off the Reputation album. The Deadpool star actually joked to Good Morning America about the little one’s musical debut after her “voice memo” ended up being featured:

“My daughter has a terrible, terrible ego problem now, after that song came out. Oh, she’s insufferable. Yeah, so she’s in a Taylor Swift song. I don’t know if she knows she’s in a Taylor Swift song. Yes, she will [someday find out].”

LOLz! The story behind it is pretty amazing, too, as it’s reportedly been said on Twitter:

“Taylor was with Blake and Ryan at the beach and was playing gorgeous for them on her guitar, and then their daughter, James, kept saying ‘gorgeous’ over and over”

We absolutely want to believe it’s true!

While we’re not exactly sure how Tay was inspired by the young trio, it’s clear they’ve been on her mind during isolation. The Lover artist penned an essay following Folklore‘s release on Friday where she wrote in part:

“Pretty soon these images in my head grew faces or names and became characters. I found myself not only writing my own stories, but also writing about or from the perspective of people I’ve never met, people I’ve known, or those I wish I hadn’t. An exiled man walking the bluffs of a land that isn’t his own, wondering how it all went so terribly, terribly wrong. An embittered tormentor showing up at the funeral of his fallen object of obsession. A seventeen-year-old standing on a porch, learning to apologize. Lovestruck kids wandering up and down the evergreen High Line. My grandfather, Dean, landing at Guadalcanal in 1942. A misfit widow getting gleeful revenge on the town that cast her out.”

She explained further down:

“In isolation my imagination has run wild and this album is the result, a collection of songs and stories that flowed like a stream of consciousness. Picking up a pen was my way of escaping into fantasy, history, and memory. I’ve told these stories to the best of my ability with all the love, wonder, and whimsy they deserve.”
