T.I. Appears In Public For The First Time Post-Prison!

And he was supporting a great cause!

Rapper T.I. stepped out with his fiancee Tameka “Tiny” Cottle to support her Alzheimer’s research fundraiser, “For the Love of Our Fathers” at Atlanta’s Opera venue.

“I am very well, very happy to be seen,” he said, joining Tiny on the stage at the end of the evening. T.I. is still serving out the rest of his sentence for gun-possession in a halfway house in Georgia.

T.I.’s manager Jason Geter also revealed that he’s working on both a new album and a film that are due out at the end of the summer.

Takers, about a bank heist and due out on August 20, will also star Zoe Saldana, Chris Brown and Hayden Christensen, but the album is still a work in progress. Says Geter:

“He’s sounding beautiful. His spirit is really good. He’s got the eye of the tiger. There’s no theme as of yet. The sound is definitely not a bunch of samples.”

Good for T.I.! It sounds like he’s getting right back on track!
