Uh oh! Was Pauline Chalamet giving Kylie Jenner a cold shoulder during this icy exchange??
During Sunday night’s Oscars, Timothée Chalamet’s sister came over to greet him at his seat. In a video captured by E! News, he looked thrilled to say hello to the Sex Lives of College Girls star. Unfortunately, the greeting between Pauline and Kylie wasn’t so sugary sweet!

Kylie remained seated at first, and she was actually the one to first address the actress, seemingly complimenting her dress. She then extended her hand for a hug, which Pauline went in for, but the whole thing looked so cringe! It was quick and pretty impersonal — and that’s not coming from us. Body language expert Susan Constantine told Page Six on Monday that the interaction was super “dismissive.” She detailed:
“Pauline dismissed Kylie quickly. Kylie, while seated, was taken by surprise but showed genuine interest by making eye contact and brows raised.”
Despite her efforts, she got “the non-verbal cold shoulder” as Pauline’s behavior seemed “impersonal, dismissive and disingenuous.” Oof! The expert said the 34-year-old showed signs of being “nonverbal smug,” adding:
“Pauline’s body language swiftly shifted away from Kylie.”
She doubled down:
“Pauline’s body language also showed hesitation before the faux hug.”
Damn!!!

It’s long been reported that Timmy’s family isn’t a fan of his ultra wealthy and famous partner. Fans even thought Pauline took shots at the makeup mogul after sharing a post blasting billionaires. And this new clip is just adding to the speculation. Reacting to the new video, they wrote:
“The sister doesn’t like Kylie”
“That was a weird moment. Can tell she’s not a Kylie fan”
“Everything in this clip was awkward”
“The fakest interaction I’ve ever seen.”
But not everyone agrees with the drama:
