According to an Us Weekly source, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star asked his ex-wife for “forgiveness” a LONG time ago over how he handled their divorce.

The insider explained that while the 55-year-old “doesn’t like to dwell on the past,” he “of course wishes he’d handled the end of their marriage in a more thoughtful manner,” adding:
“He asked for Jen’s forgiveness a long time ago and she gave it.”
All’s well that doesn’t end well, we guess?
As we reported, the exes reunited at Jen’s 50th birthday at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood over the weekend, alongside other mega stars like George Clooney, Sandra Bullock, and Katy Perry.
Angelina Jolie’s ex was said to have given the Dumplin’ actress a card and a hug, much to the surprise of many party goers.
