Looks like Alex Rodriguez's real estate agent, Adam Modlin, doubles as a matchmaker.

Modlin, a long time friend of A-Rod's, was the one who introduced him to Kate Hudson.

Thanks a lot, buddy!

A source reveals, "Adam has known Kate for a while, as well. He's been showing her townhouses in the West Village for about a year now. He thought Alex and Kate would like one another, and sure enough, when they connected, it was a home run."

Another insider adds that the two lovebirds met as early as November of last year. Revealing that A-Rod and Kate met "in Miami at the Fountainebleau hotel opening in November '08 - Adam introduced them. The first five to 10 minutes of their conversation was about Adam. At the time, A-Rod was all about Madonna."

Hudson and A-Rod were even spotted kissing and being all over each other recently at the 40/40 club, which A-Rod partly owns.

The source adds that "Alex was holding Kate's hand the whole time and stealing kisses whenever he could. He is so into her and doesn't even mind when his friends tease him about her."

We're betting this relationship will be over before summer ends!

Things are really starting to heat up for Kate Hudson and Madonna's ex Yankee 3rd baseman Alex Rodriguez!

Yesterday, she made herself quite comfortable watching her man and the rest of the team play the Minnesota Twins at Yankee Stadium. She seems to have had a good time and sources are saying that things might be getting serious between the actress and ball player.

A source reveals that A-Rod "introduced her to a bunch of his friends" and that she followed the team on the road to Dallas, where she stayed at the same hotel. The two were seen "together in the fitness center."

Eh, we think the novelty will wear off by season's end, but they sure as hell make an attractive couple. We bet Goldie and Kurt don't like him HALF as much as they liked Lance Armstrong.

Horny wacktress Kate Hudson has recently been spotted out getting romantical with Madonna's leftovers, Alex Rodriguez.

She's been spotted at Yankees games and later at a bar where they mysteriously disappeared into the back room for a while.

And, now, reports say that Hudson even stayed with A-Roid at the Hotel ZaZa in Dallas after his game against the Texas Rangers this past Wednesday.

Seriously, we hope Rodriguez is wearing a condom. Maybe even two.

Layer those suckers on!

Let's hope Owen Wilson isn't desperate enough to take her back again this time when she's single again.

Now that Madonna's through with Alex Rodriguez, the slugger is left to his own romantic devices.

And what should he dig up but a washed up Kate Hudson?

The romantic comedy staple was spotted at Friday's baseball game at Yankee Stadium and she and A-Roid were later seen at a bar, at which the couple locked themselves in the back room and allegedly played a few rounds of Seven Minutes in Heaven.

They were also caught outside of A-Rod's New York apartment.

Hope they both wore full body condoms!

As we mentioned last month, the tell-all book about NY Yankess star Alex Rodriguez, A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez, written by Sports Illustrated columnist Selena Roberts, hit the stands on Monday.

And it had promised to be good, including juicy details about A-Roid taking steroids all the way back in high school.

However, it seems the expectations were a bit too high.

According to reports, corporate reps for Barnes & Nobles and Borders are not revealing sales figures yet, though many people are stating the sales are nowhere close to what was expected.

Even one security guard at Borders in New York revealed that the sales were "A little slow, to be honest."

As for Amazon.com, it recorded the book as the 61st highest seller of the day. Though a former editor-in-chief of Publishers Weekly said "You want a book like this to be in the top 10 or 25 or so. Sixty is good but not surprising and not extraordinary."

Guess no one cares that much about A-Roid!

A-Rod: The Many Lives of Alex Rodriguez, the A-Roid tell-all written by Sports Illustrated columnist Selena Roberts, doesn't hit bookstore shelves for another couple of weeks, but juicy tidbits from the unauthorized biography have already leaked!

The book alleges that A-Roid's steroid use dates all the way back to his high school years!

How… shocking?

Roberts questioned Rodriguez' former teammate, Jose Canseco about the Yankee's steroid use, and Canseco had no problem spilling the truth (according to him)!

"Was he on steroids in high school? I think probably so. I worked out with him when he was 18. He could lift almost as much as I could," Canseco revealed in the biography.

More tales of A-Rod abusing steroids???

After divorcing his wife and then getting dumped by Madonna, Alex Rodriguez is now dating a Real Housewife.

Madonna's former sex toy and "Real" New York Housewife Bethenny Frankel, Bravo reality tv star, were seen sharing an intimate dinner on Friday in Miami.

Frankel, of course, denied everything, saying, "No, I've never been in the same room with him [Rodriguez]… Can it be George Clooney? Can't it just be the celebrity I want to be aligned with?"

Nope, it's just the village tricycle!

P.S. She's probably the one starting these rumors herself, just to deny them and hump the attention.

The folks over at Parade have calculated the top moneymakers in their upcoming "What People Earn" issue and revealed the salaries of some of America's most famous celebs!

The issue features Jennifer Aniston, who earned $27 million over 2008 due to the surprise hit Marley & Me, on the cover, but Maniston's wages don't hold a candle to 2008's top earner: Barbie!

Barbie and Mattel brought in a whopping $3.3 billion for the year!

That's a whole lotta plastic boobies!

Parade spilled the deets of some of our favorite celebs' salaries, with Britney Spears raking in a modest $2.25 million and Beyonce earning a phenomenal $80 million!!

Tween idol Taylor Swift even topped Brit Brit by making $5.5 million for the year!

Funnywoman and 30 Rock star Tina Fey was able to earn $4.6 million, but her former SNL cast mate Will Ferrell blew her figure out of the park, bringing in $31 million in 2008 alone!

Speaking of blowing out of the park, perpetual playboy for the Yankees A-Rod brought in $34 million for the year, making him currently the top earning player in baseball.

Parade then compared the celebs' salaries to those of the average American and found that celebrities earned 115 times more than your average Joe in 2008!

Yuck!

Ex-madam Kristin Davis, who most famously found Governer Eliot Spitzer hookers to lay his peen into, has revealed that New York Yankees star slugger Alex Rodriguez was a client of her escort agency!

A-Rod, who was married at the time, met Davis at a Philadelphia gym in 2006, where he reportedly tried to pick up the madam!

He asked Davis what her plans were for the night and the madam replied, "I'm having dinner with my boyfriend. But if you're looking for someone to hang out with, here's a number," slipping the Yankee her business card.

A-Rod immediately booked a two-hour fucky-fucky session with one of Davis' girls which led to Rodriguez's long relationship with the escort agency. A-Rod reportedly boned the hookers over half-a-dozen times, meeting them at the Four Seasons hotel in NYC.

Surprise surprise, Rodriguez eventually grew bored with paying for sex and set his peen eyes on the Madam herself!

A-Roid sent Madam Davis a desperate e-mail after shagging one of her girls and the two relayed flirty messages back and forth:

Rodriguez: "Thanks for setting me up with Samantha. She was gorgeous. But she is not you. When can I see you you are gorgeous . . ."

Davis: "Hi Alex. You don't want to see me. I'm no fun. lol. Just because your (sic) so sweet, here are some pics of me and I appreciate the compliments. Your (sic) a doll. Thanks, Kristin"
