It's pretty impressive that Colin Firth chose a role involving a sport he knew NOTHING about!

That's right! Even though he had no idea how to play golf and quickly found out that golf what's the sport for him, he delivered his performance anyway! We bet his awkwardness with it doesn't even shine through, though! THAT's a professional actor!

LOLz!

Here's what he said about it:

If Samuel L. Jackson wanted to kill you with a golf swing, he would! Sam doesn't 'almost' do ANYTHING!!

Sam was at the famous St. Andrews golf course in Scotland, playing in a celebrity tournament when he allegedly (remember, he doesn't 'almost' do anything!) shanked a ball so hard into the crowd that some say he nearly killed someone!

Okay fine, when we say 'some say' we actually mean Sam himself. Here's what he said:

If you've been wondering why you hadn't heard that Parks & Recreation's Adam Scott is such an amazing golfer before he won this year's Master's, that's probably because it was a different Adam Scott!

It's true, Adam Scott the actor is way different than Adam Scott the golfer, but the hatred the one has for the other is very real!

Actually, it's probably not real — but Adam went on Conan last night to vent about it all!

If you thought golf was boring and on its way out, think again!

Oh, but if you're also expecting numbers matching the all time high for a Master's final round like back in 1997 when Tiger was as huge as he was gonna get, you should still probably think again! LOLz!

Adam Scott won after battling on extra holes in the final round and it was that kind of excitement that boosted the ratings 25% over last year — with the CBS broadcast getting a 10.2/21 average household rating, peaking at an amazeballs 13.4/25. Back in 1997 it was 14.1/31!

This is good news for golf, and definitely good news for Adam!

Congrats to everyone involved! A LOT of naps were taken! LOLz!

How CA-UTTTE are these two???

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been spending some time in Millington, Tennessee practicing their golf strokes, and we're not the least bit surprised that they're golfing it up — especially after meeting Barack and Michelle Obama last week!!

Since the prez likes to golf, the Suit & Tie singer probably wanted to hit some balls at Mirimichi Golf Course.

After all, since JT actually backs the golf course, we're sure he receives some good deals. So maybe next time he'll take the Obamas and earn some brownie points!!

With their relationship sailing smoothly, Lindsey Vonn headed to Augusta, Ga. to watch the love of her life, Tiger Woods golf it up at the 2013 Masters Tournament.

Woods took the No. 1 spot back last month, and while he had his beautiful lady watching him tee off at his first hole, we're sure he was more confident than ever.

In the pic (above), the Olympic skier is seen on the right rockin' a big beige hat with a matching dress, and even though Tiger appears blurry, we can see his determination!!

We're happy that the couple is making progress, because if they continue to go to each others athletics events often, then that just means they're deeply in love!!

NOPE! This is for fun, relaxation, and KEEPS!

Actually, we're just assuming that they'd put a little friendly wager on the game. We mean, why not? LOLz!

Justin Timberlake and his BFF Kiefer Sutherland took to the links in Toluca Lake for some golfing fun times! They too look great all decked out for the game!

We hope both of them came in under par!

You know… no shanking around the dog-legs for bogie! Golf!
