Media manipulation!

The guy who was overseeing the'virginity auction' spun the virgin's appearance on Howard's show in a pretty effed up way. His inaccurate claims got him the publicity he wanted for his money making venture!

Howard never agreed to be 'part' of the auction. He merely wanted to cover the news.

Howard's side of the story showed up on HowardStern.com today, Wednesday.

At one point, Howard wanted to cancel the virgin's appearance on the show because of the misinformation that got out to the media:

Howard noted that the NY Daily News had picked up news of Dennis Hof's appearance on today's show, but they got the story all wrong: “I really want to tell Dennis to go home…I gotta get out of the Dennis Hof business.” Howard explained that he didn't want to be involved in the auction for the virginity of Dennis Hof's Bunny Ranch girls, he simply wanted to talk to them about how and why someone would do such a thing, and Dennis spun it like Howard was “kicking off” the auction.

Howard told Gary to cancel Dennis and the girls' appearance: “I'm only interviewing the girl…They've got it very different in the newspaper.” Gary came in to defend Dennis, saying he was just trying to get publicity for his appearance like anyone else would. After hearing that Dennis and the girls had already flown in and were on their way, Howard begrudgingly allowed Gary to keep the segment on the schedule.

After this girl gives up her virginity, a life of porn and pimps awaits her!

Here's something you don't hear about everyday. At least not publicly.

Next Tuesday, Howard Stern will be auctioning off something a bit more enticing than Michael Jackson's dirty underwear.

Howard will be auctioning off a 22 year-old female's virginity.

A San Diego woman wants to sell her first time at sex in order to pay for her college tuition.

The girl, who's calling herself Natalie Dylan "for safety reasons" says, "I don't have a moral dilemma with it. We live in a capitalist society. Why shouldn't I be allowed to capitalize on my virginity?"

So basically she'll be trading in sex for money. We think people call that being a prostitute, not a capitalist.

As for Dylan, she was introduced to Stern by Dennis Hof, the owner of Nevada's legal brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch.

So how are they related????

Turns out Dylan's sister already works at the Bunny Ranch.

Guess the prostitute genes run in the family!

Hof says, "I think it's a tremendous idea. Why lose it to some guy in the backseat of a Toyota when you can pay for your education?"

Because somehow we doubt she'll even end up going to school after she gets the money.

As for the auction, it'll take place on Hof's site, at bunnyranch.com.

Is he gonna videotape the act too?

And for those that don't fully trust Dylan's "virginity" she says she'll submit herself to a polygraph and gynecological exam to confirm it.

Wait, why hasn't she already done that?

Will the winner get a refund if they find out she lied?????

She adds, "I understand some people may condemn me. But I think this is empowering. I'm using what I have to better myself."

According to Dylan, she and her sister were forced into the "skin trade" partly because their stepdad allegedly took out some student loans in their names without their permission, which left them unable to finance their education.

Uhm, something sounds fishy about that.

According to Dylan, she says she's already earned a bachelor's degree in women's studies at Sacramento State, and later in January she'll start her master's work in marriage and family therapy. She'd even like to get a doctorate as well.

That sounds odd to us as well. We want to see a diploma!

And what does mommy think about this?

Her mom, who's a fourth-grade teacher, says she doesn't approve of it, "but she supports me."

As for the idea behind the publicity stunt, Dylan says she got it from reading about a Peruvian woman who needed money to pay for her mother's medical bills. A Canadian man stupidly eagerly bid $1.5 million, but the woman reportedly decided not to go through with the sex.

But that won't be the case with Dylan. Oh, and she also won't pick the highest bidder.

She adds, "I want someone with chemistry. We'll take bids until I find a suitor I'm happy with.”

So you have to be rich, stupid, and cute!

As we mentioned in July, Jerry O'Connell and his wife, Rebecca Romijn O'Connell, have confirmed news that they are expecting their first child together.

Actually, it'll be twins!

Celebs sure are having a lot of twins lately.

Jerry stopped by the Howard Stern show this week, where he opened up to Howard about his personal life.

Stern chatted with O'Connell and then asked him if he was actually having twins with Romijn.

O'Connell confirmed and responded with, “Two girls…or two boys with really small genitalia.”

And as for baby names, Jerry said he'll get to name one baby while Rebecca names the other.

“She's going with Dolly, after Dolly Parton," he said. "I'm thinking Cher.”

That'd be too funny if it were true! But what if they're boys? We thinks Perez sounds like a good name for one of them.

And like the usual Stern, he put O'Connell on the spot as to why he wasn't going to be attending his wedding. To that O'Connell could only say, “You're putting me in an awkward position here.”

Jerry should totally go! We wonder what Sterns' wedding will even be like.

Then Howard insisted Jerry pressure Rebecca into letting him go to the wedding, seeing as she wouldn't be mean enough to punch him out. Again.

Howard then played a clip from Jerry on the Wrap-Up show that had him describing "a drunk and hysterical Rebecca" who "punched him out for golfing when he said he was elsewhere."

Hah, loves it!

To that Jerry added, “I would [defend myself], but I'm afraid of getting punched again. I'm kidding! I'm kidding, honey. She's listening in her car right now and punching the steering wheel.”

We love a strong woman. Who knew Romijn wore the pants? Wait, we did!

We mentioned last week that Howard Stern had a 'B' tattooed on his ring finger and that his wife-to-be, Beth Ostrosky, had an "H" tattooed on her inner wrist.

Now we have a pic of the Mrs' ink!

October bridegroom Howard Stern had a "B" for future wife Beth Ostrosky tattooed on his ring finger this week.

Howard also revealed that Beth had an “H” tattooed on the inside of her wrist.

He says, “I was like, 'Wow, maybe she really does love me.'”

Mark, an ordained minister, has been tapped to marry Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky in October.

As we mentioned yesterday, speculation had reached a fever pitch (amongst diehard fans of the show) that one of Howard Stern's sidekicks, Artie Lange, had checked himself into rehab.

Well, it's true.

Lange's publicist has confirmed today that he has checked himself into an intensive outpatient rehab program.

A source says Artie is making "his health a priority."

Lange also canceled his stand-up shows this weekend in Connecticut.

Howard Stern has decided to get back into films.

This time around, though, he's sticking to producing.

The King of All Media is working on a remake the 1979 film Rock 'n' Roll High School.

The film centers around a group of students who get help from the rock band the Ramones to rebel against the school's principal.

Sounds like an edgier High School Musical!

Alex Winter has been hired to write the script. He's probably best remembered for his 1989 role as Bill in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.

Winter says, "I've now done so much stuff in music videos, and the Napster movie, that the chance to bridge music and comedy was something that intrigued me. This movie seemed so ripe for a remake."

As for Stern, he's also remaking the classic 1982 flick Porky's.

That's said to start production in the fall.
