After years of being a big hot mess, Jason Wahler has accomplished one year of sobriety.

With that success under his belt, he decided the time was right to make amends for his pasts deeds.

Jason admits he'd been wanting to apologize for quite some time now, but the timing was never right.

Now, however, he wants her to know how sorry he is, and apparently he wants everyone else to know too:

Lauren Conrad has finally started moving on from her breakup with Kyle Howard. The former Hills star was spotted out with another MTV star, Colton Haynes of Teen Wolf at the HTC Status phone launch on July 20. The pair were spotted sitting at the same table, chatting about the old days (Colton was on a few Hills episodes back in LC's Teen Vogue days) and even exchanged numbers at the end of the night!

Girl moves fast! Ha!

Still, if we were Colton, we wouldn't get too attached. We're hearing that LC's still in contact with her ex. According to a source,

According to our sources, Lauren Conrad decided to go out last night with bestie Lo Bosworth for a long overdue girls night out!

The blonde bombshell reality stars hit up LA hotspot The Beverly! Nice!

Newly single, the designer/writer danced and sipped the night away with Miss Lo while catching the eyes of many male admirers all throughout the night.

Other celebrities seen in VIP included the oozing sexpot Robin Thicke, HBO's How To Make It In America star Bryan Greenberg, Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalf, among others.

As pictured above, she exits the nightclub with no love for the cameras (probs tired from all that fun).

We're happy for Lauren, but next time we'd love to see just how jubilant she is.

You would think that three years would mean something to guy. Apparently not.

While their split was said to be amicable, we've just learned that it was actually Kyle Howard's decision to end thing with Lauren Conrad. Reportedly, Kyle took issue with LC's reality show fame, fearing it would conflict with his big career plans. A source explains:

Sad! We thought they were good for each other!

Word is that Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard are done. The pair have reportedly split amicably after three years together. Sources close to the pair say that the breakup was a "mutual decision and that no third parties were involved."

Just like their relationship, their breakup is drama-free. We guess that's a good thing. Still, we're sorry to hear it.

Say what you want about Laguna Beach and The Hills as quality television, but do not for one second think that Lauren Conrad is not an extremely hard worker.

She just turned in the manuscript for her 5th novel, having had L.A. Candy land on the NY Times Bestseller list, had two successful shows, and is juggling two clothing lines.

So it's no wonder that Forbes would court her into writing for them, especially for their Lifestyle section!
