The Oscars aren't for another month, but Best Picture nominee Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close has already beat out every other film nominated in the same category in a much less appealing one — the worst reviewed movie in the last 10 years to be nominated for an Oscar!

Rotten Tomatoes, an internet database that keeps track of movie reviews for every movie released since 1999, gives the nominee a 47% ROTTEN rating! 57 critics gave the Stephen Daldry flick a positive review, but 64 weren't as kind.

To give you an idea of what some negative nancies said about it, here a couple quick quotes we found from the rotten reviews:

Ryan Gosling apparently got seduced into a relationship he didn't want and Katy Perry's deep dark secrets are said to be on the way out of hiding if Russell Brand makes good on his deal for a tell-all book!

Such scandal! Such betrayal! Such a treat for the lover of tabloids! Nothing not juicy about any of these stories, we'll tell ya that!

So THIS must be why People magazine couldn't quite name Ryan Gosling as the Sexiest Man of The Year -- he's a smoker!

Ugh! Such a sad day for us.

Here we thought the Drive star was a gift from above, perfect in every way, but alas, he has flaws like the rest of us! His flaw, however, can eventually kill him and maybe others breathing in the second-hand smoke around him!

This isn't the first time we spotted RyGos with a cigarette in his mouth, but last time he got caught on camera with one it was on the set of his new movie Gangster Squad. We were totally crossing our fingers it was a prop, but unfortunately an interview on YouTube says otherwise.

We love all your work, plus those eyes, that body, and adorable personality. Please don't ruin it all with those cancer sticks, Ryan!
