This is really sad to hear.

Whoa! The creator of Sex And The City dropped a major bomb about the original casting of the series!
In a new interview, Darren Star revealed Sarah Jessica Parker, ahem Carrie Bradshaw's main loves, Mr. Big and Aidan, almost didn't exist.
Well, just not as how you know them.
Star spilled that Chris Noth and John Corbett aren't who he initially had in mind to play their now-famous characters!
"I was thinking of Alec Baldwin for Big initially [in Sex and the City]. I don't really watch Law & Order, but I met with Chris Noth and thought he was perfect. I remember the first table read, how good he was. I'm not saying that Chris was Mr. Big, but he brought a lot of his own persona to the role… We initially were thinking about Aidan Quinn for Aidan, but I think he wasn't available. I loved John Corbett in Northern Exposure, and we were like, ‘Well, what's John Corbett been up to?' He just had the laconic, dudish vibe. But we kept ‘Aidan' because we loved the name."
After six seasons and two movies, it's almost hard to imagine Alec or Aidan being able to fit in those roles.
Can you see it??

It's been almost six years since we've seen the ladies of Sex and the City on the big screen.
And even though the 2010 sequel was met with mixed criticism from fans, some people are still interested in having another go!
Sarah Jessica Parker has also expressed interest in another film — but would audiences still line up to see Carrie & Co. on the big screen?
Would YOU even want to see Sex and the City 3 if it was coming out in theaters? Cast your votes (below)!
What a Miranda thing to say!
While speaking to E! at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, the Hannibal actress revealed that she'd love to reboot the HBO series, saying:
The Sex And The City star recently opened up to Yahoo Beauty about the way the iconic series ended, which is obviously a subject of some controversy.
The interviewer mentioned that series creator Darren Star was NOT a fan of the way the franchise finished. He had previously said:
"I think the show ultimately betrayed what it was about, which was that women don't ultimately find happiness from marriage. Not that they can't. But the show initially was going off script from the romantic comedies that had come before it. That's what had made women so attached."
But the blonde beauty disagrees, saying:
This apparently bears repeating.
But, really, Sarah Jessica Parker is NOT Carrie Bradshaw. Never was, never will be.
In a new, short interview with the Wall Street Journal, the actress once again reiterates this fact while talking about how much she enjoys the challenge of taking on new roles:
"I love the process of becoming somebody else, but the work to become so, and to be convincing, is still very challenging. Every project is brand new and scary. People probably don't realize that Carrie Bradshaw was radically different from who I was, who I continue to be. I think that sometimes because we look alike and live in the same city and haunt the same neighborhoods, that it was sort of like I was playing in the sandbox, when in truth it took real work every day to be her, to understand her, to not judge her. I'm working on a new series for HBO now. The character I'm playing is incredibly different from me in many ways—she handles complexity differently than I do, her marriage is different from my own, and she's struggling financially in a way that I don't at this point in my life. But that's what I love. I still love the idea of being somebody else."
"Look alike"??? You played her on TV, Sarah!
Whatever, never mind, obviously no actor is the character they play in film, no matter how iconic that character eventually becomes.
We're just perplexed that people still annoy SJP with Carrie comparisons. Move on, guys!
And there probably won't be a third SATC movie, bye.
But the Sex And The City star was surprisingly well informed on the latest match-making technology when she appeared on Billy on the Street!
In the clip, SJP played a round of Reindeer or Sex App, in which Billy Eichner asked her to guess if the words he's rattling off are dating apps or the names of Santa's reindeer!
The quick-fire game was surprisingly difficult (is Cupid a reindeer or an app?) but the actress had a TON of fun playing — and even won a super adorable prize!
Before the game, the host had a much needed discussion with his guest about — what else? Sex & The City 2!

With countless Emmy wins in the comedy and drama department, HBO had a killer 2015!
And the premium cabler is planning to continue their stellar programming next year with an AH-Mazing lineup!
In a supercut of its 2016 programming, HBO released quick clips of new shows like Sarah Jessica Parker's Divorce, along with return shows like Veep, Silicon Valley, Girls, and of course — Game Of Thrones!
We don't see any Jon Snow this time around, but instead are shown quick shots of Ramsay Bolton, a wide-eyed Daenerys, and a kind-faced (and short-haired) Queen Cersei!
Hmmm… does this mean getting publicly "shamed" inspired Cersei to turn over a new leaf? We can only hope it's a part of her newest evil plan!
Ch-ch-check out the GoT clips and the rest of HBO's lineup in the teaser (below) at around the 1:50 mark!
