Scammer At Center Of College Admissions Scandal Claims 'Tens Of Thousands' Of Coached Applicants!

Will the ongoing Operation: Varsity Blues college admissions scandal change the process of getting into college as we know it forever??
If Rick Singer — the man who pled guilty as the ringleader behind it all before naming names — has anything to say about it, college may never be the same… because as it turns out, Singer’s actions were apparently long-standing and VERY involved!

Back in 2016 — long before the feds announced Operation: Varsity Blues, and before stars like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman Macy (both pictured, above) were thrown into the legal crosshairs — Singer sat for a different deposition when a school was sued by a student who claimed discrimination.
In the deposition, which was just uncovered by the Los Angeles Times this week, Singer claimed under oath that he had “more than enough experience to testify” because he had previously served on admission committees for UCLA, the University of California at DavisChapman University, and the University of Miami.
Going along with that work, then, Singer bragged under oath at the time that he had “coached tens of thousands of students” on what to put in their applications so as to be accepted to some of America’s best colleges!
Wait, so, does this mean that Singer was already using slippery methods to help admit not-so-deserving students back then — just two years ago?! Or are we to believe he was supposedly the straight-laced guy just 24 months ago, and only recently did he concoct this incredibly complicated, high-end multi-million dollar scam that has him — and a lot of ashamed parents — in legal hot water? Hmmm…
Even two years ago, sources say, Singer was seen as “the go-to guy” to get rich parents’ kids into college, and he had a very strong reputation even then among parents around Manhattan, Hollywood, and Silicon Valley as being the one guy who could open doors in college admissions offices. You don’t think…

It’s crazy to imagine that Singer could have tampered with thousands of college applications had he been running various scams and schemes for years — though obviously, there’s no telling whether or not that’s true. This story gets murkier still when you consider that according to the Times, Chapman and UC Davis say Singer was lying in that 2016 deposition and never actually worked for them on any admissions committee, anyways.
Really?! Scammer gonna scam?? Or is there something else going on??
One thing is for certain: Singer has had a lot of tricks up his sleeve for quite a while, as it turns out. We can only wonder if a lot of colleges across the country are going back a few years and reviewing their admissions processes a bit more thoroughly…
Crazy!!!
