Aaron Carter isn’t afraid to say how he really feels! (As if that wasn’t already painfully clear.)
In a teaser for the upcoming season of Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition, the 31-year-old and his mother Jane Carter get into a heated argument about another teen music artist: Justin Bieber.

The I Want Candy singer laments about his childhood, insisting he didn’t have a normal life:
“I was doing tour after tour after tour after tour.”
However, his mom disagrees, downplaying his fame when compared to a certain other young pop star:
“I don’t think it was that much … you weren’t a Justin Bieber.”
She’s insinuating the What Do You Mean? musician was more popular than her son! To his face!
We mean, it’s factual, objectively, but still. It doesn’t go over well with Aaron, who continues to get visibly heated, snapping at his mother:
“Thank you, that means a lot … I’m no Justin Bieber, I’m a piece of s**t.”
In an attempt to save herself, Jane backtracks:
“I’m not saying it like that.”
But Aaron is clearly too fired up to hear reason, saying:
“I paved the way for that kid … he copied my hairstyle!”
Did he though?
Finally, the mother and son are able to find some common ground. She agrees, confirming:
“He copied everything about you.”
Aw, you can’t just tell him everything he wants to hear. Don’t be a yes mom!
Aaron proclaims:
“I am no Justin Bieber, I’m Aaron Carter!”

ICYMI, the Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) singer has been dealing with more than a few demons off camera, as well. His brother Nick Carter and sister Angel Carter announced via Twitter they would be seeking a restraining order against their brother, which was granted temporarily:
“After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today. In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family. We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.”
Not long after the string of bizarre behavior and tweets began, Aaron debuted a half-face Medusa-inspired tattoo, which he has since had more added onto on the opposite side. It now seems to cover his entire neck.
