AMC’s zombie apocalypse drama The Walking Dead raked in a series high amount of viewers as it finished out the first season of 6 episodes.

6 million viewers tuned in Sunday night for the quasi-cliffhanger that won’t be answered until the 13 episode season dos begins in October!

That gives all you Darabont zombies 10 months to go out and enjoy what the outside world has to offer before glueing yourselves to your couches again every Sunday night next fall.
