SO exciting!!!
These parents haven’t faced the movie cameras together since their infamous match-up in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but that will apparently change soon!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie plan to fly to Malta at the end of August to work on their newest movie together, and they definitely did not choose this beautiful country without doing their homework!
The two went all throughout the country this summer, scouting for locations, before deciding that Malta was the place to be, and at least one of the country’s leaders is certainly happy with their choice!
Here’s what the Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat recently said:
“I’m happy that Hollywood producers have once again chosen Malta for their project, and we will be delighted to host Mr. Pitt, Ms. Jolie, and their family for the second time in just a few years. I’m sure that this film will help put our beautiful sister island of Gozo on the world map.”
Not only will Brad and Angelina be on the move to the European country, but their whole brood will be joining them, as well!
One source said:
“They’ll be filming in Mgarr ix-Xini Bay in Gozo. The whole family will be staying in Malta for eight weeks, arriving at the end of August.”
As for the movie that the two will be filming there – do NOT expect this to be a sequel to their 2005 assassin comedy.
Although details of the movie have been kept incognito – the film is believed to be a “love story” and it may even have been a movie that Jolie wrote a while back!
Angelina Jolie has previously talked about that screenplay that she typed up, and said:
“It’s not a big movie, it’s not an action movie. It’s the kind of movie we love but aren’t often cast in. It’s a very experimental, independent-type film where we get to be actors together and be really raw, open, try things.”
Wow!
We would LOVE to see Brad and Angelina try something like that!
Hopefully that is the film that these two will be filming in Malta! These two plus paradise equals our full attention!!!
