Anna Faris and Chris Pratt will always put their son Jack first.
For a sit down with E! News, the Mom actress opened up about the “joy and happiness” she and Chris surround their 5-year-old with, despite their shocking split. As you may recall, back in August, the two A-listers announced that they had decided to separate. By December, the Jurassic World actor officially filed for divorce.

While Faris and Pratt may no longer be a couple, the twosome are dedicated to coparenting their shared child. On the positive environment the former flames are creating for their youngster, Anna shared:
“He’s surrounded by so much love. We constantly reinforce what a great kid he is.”
Awwwwww. While, yes, they “try to discipline when he’s being a little bit naughty,” the 41-year-old added:
“I think the key is surrounding him with a lot of joy and happiness, which he has a ton of.”
And it sounds like Jack’s inherited his parents’ shared sense of humor as Faris continued:
“I think it’s those small moments in life, when your kid says something funny or like for me, I love what I do so I get a kick out of feeling like I nailed a joke well. And family and friends!”
So sweet. Although Anna and Chris are both seeking joint custody of Jack, the Scary Movie alum is adjusting to life as a single mom.
