Audrina Patridge's Jobless Ex-Husband Corey Bohan Seeking Child Support Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Audrina Patridge's baby daddy Corey Bohan is seeking monthly child support to care for their daughter Kirra.

We hope Audrina Patridge is ready to open up her wallet!

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, the reality TV star’s ex-husband Corey Bohan is now seeking monthly child support payments to support himself and their 3-year-old daughter Kirra Max. The 38-year-old’s request via the Orange County Superior Court comes months after he was laid off from work in March due to the COVID-19 lockdown and he wants Patridge to step up and lend a helping hand.

Bohan was reportedly working as a bartender before coronavirus forced several industries to shut down, including restaurants and bars. While he’s out of work, Audrina’s baby daddy is claiming she “earns significantly higher income” than him and added their daughter should have the right to the same standard of living at each of their homes.

Corey alleged his ex is earning in excess of $36K per month “while I am currently laid off due to the stay at home orders and have not yet received any unemployment.” The BMX athlete says even when he does get back to work, his average monthly income is around $2-$3K per month and implied that he would still need monetary assistance to properly care for their child.

Corey also said The Hills star can afford monthly child support payments because she “also owns real property, is able to fund a retirement account and has various investments.” He also wants her to shell out $7,500 towards his legal fees and there’s an August hearing set for his request.

As we mentioned earlier, this is all going to cost the starlet a pretty penny if Corey’s request is eventually granted by the court. Times are definitely hard for everyone right now as millions of Americans are either on or waiting for unemployment assistance from the government in response to the novel coronavirus.

It’s worth noting that bars, gyms, and pools were allowed to reopen in the OC as of June 12, so, technically there is an opportunity for the father of one to start putting money back in his pocket for the time being. But considering how contentious it was for the pair amid their divorce, with Audrina previously accusing Corey of child abuse (which he was cleared of), we have a feeling he isn’t going to let this one go so easily.

We’ll continue to keep you Perezcious readers updated as this all plays out!
