This is not good for Bill O’Reilly…
…but it might be better for his two children.
The FOX News host has been in a contentious court battle with his ex-wife, Maureen McPhilmy, over custody of their 13- and 17-year-old children, and now it appears to have been decided once and for all by New York courts.

The Appellate Division of the New York Appeals Court held in a 1,400-page (!!) decision that they unanimously are in favor of the children’s custody being granted to McPhilmy in full, writing:
“Viewing the totality of the circumstances, there is a sound and substantial basis for the Supreme Court’s determination that it is in the best interests of the children for the mother to be awarded primary residential custody.”

There’s a VERY important quote from the court there, too, indicating that the kids themselves don’t want to live with O’Reilly:
“Particularly relevant in this case are the clearly stated preferences of the children, especially considering their age and maturity, and the quality of the home environment provided by the mother.”
WOW!
Knowing Bill’s history — especially with McPhilmy — this makes sense.

Last year, the couple’s 17-year-old daughter told a court-appointed forensic examiner that she saw O’Reilly dragging McPhilmy down a staircase by her NECK!
Ugh.
Let’s just hope he gets the message sent loud and clear by this court.
