Let the legal maneuvering begin — er, continue.
Bobbi Kristina Brown has passed away, of course, yet there’s still much to be done around her former boyfriend Nick Gordon — and we’re getting a hint of what may be coming down the line for him.

On Tuesday, Gordon’s lawyers filed a motion to dismiss the wrongful death lawsuit that has been brought against him for BK’s untimely end. Bedelia Hargrove, the co-conservator of Brown’s estate, has alleged in the lawsuit that Gordon was responsible for putting Brown in a coma on the night of January 31 at the home they shared in Atlanta.
Gordon’s lawyers, however, contend that Hargrove’s lawsuit contains:
“Several unsupported conclusory, untrue, criminal accusations that Defendant Nicholas Gordon committed acts that he simply did not do.”
Nick’s attorney, Jose Baez, spoke to reporters on Tuesday and said:
“The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless. Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly. Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”
Baez denies that Gordon committed fraud in claiming he married Brown, and also strongly denied that Gordon ever physically abused her.
Either way, expect this one to potentially get pretty ugly — and it will certainly drag on through the courts for quite a long time.
