Britney Spears' Ex-Manager Sam Lutfi Denies Writing 'Fake Emails', Claims She Was FORCED To Break Her Silence Amid Mental Health Drama

Britney Spears' ex manager denies writing fake emails

Britney Spears’ former manager Sam Lutfi doesn’t want you to believe anything the pop star seemingly writes on her Instagram page — especially the claims that he once crafted emails in her name.
The 44-year-old producer took to Twitter on Wednesday to deny the accusations he posed as Britney in a series of emails that have reportedly been going around as of late, insisting the claims were made up by the singer’s camp as a way of “overshadow[ing] the FreeBritney movement.”

As we reported, the 37-year-old shared an Instagram update on her mental health Tuesday, telling her fans that “all is well” amid her stint in a mental health facility and that she’ll be back in the spotlight soon. The video came with a lengthy caption, in which she blamed the recent controversy on “emails” that were allegedly written by Sam. She wrote:

“These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address.”

Sam hit back at the claims hours later, suggesting that the Grammy winner was forced to make a video statement by her management. Captioning the message, “Nice try Lou but this isn’t going to work this time around,” (referring to Spears’ business manager, Lou Taylor) he wrote:

“Britney’s Instagram post has accused me of fabricating e-emails of hers that have been circulating recently. I can unequivocally state that I never wrote nor had access to her email. Her team’s desperate attempt to deflect negative attention onto me (yet again) is a rather ineffective way to overshadow the FreeBritney movement. In addition to making certain people in her camp look bad, the e-mails in question show a woman capable of running her own life, a narrative they apparently want to hide.”

The emails in question purportedly show Britney trashing her father, Jamie Spears, who had recently been accused in an episode of the Britney’s Gram podcast of controlling the pop star against her will.
According to The Blast‘s sources, the emails definitely didn’t come from Britney, because she’s never had an email account in her entire life. But Sam, who was the Toxic songstress’s manager during her breakdown in 2007, insists that he wasn’t behind the emails either.

After denying the claims, the El Lay native went on to retweet a series of posts in support of #FreeBritney — a hashtag being shared by fans who fear that the singer is being held against her will at the LA-area mental health facility she reportedly checked herself into earlier this month.
One of the posts Sam retweeted reads:

Amid the undying con-Spears-ity, Britney’s team has been making an effort to show that she is, in fact, back on the road to recovery.
On Tuesday afternoon, the mother-of-two was spotted leaving a frozen yogurt shop with a security guard and her handler. She was seen wearing a white dress and sandals and remained silent when asked if she wanted to give any messages to those wondering about her mental health.

But minutes later, she released her Instagram video update — wearing a completely different outfit — and told her fans that she “just needed time to deal” while her family was “going through a lot of stress and anxiety.” She added in the caption:

“My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment. You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you.”

It sounds like Britney really just wants privacy right now… or, according to Sam, her management wants privacy for her.

What do U think about all this, Perezious readers!?
