Many are still looking for answers in Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones‘s decision to split, and while some have pointed the finger of blame to his cancer or her bipolar disorder, it sounds like someone else may have come between them.
Cameron Douglas, to be exact.
Michael’s 34-year-old son has had some legal troubles over the past several years and is expected to be behind bars until 2018 for repeated drug use. Well, apparently his ongoing issues may have driven a wedge between the longtime couple:
“Cameron and Catherine never seemed to have a close relationship and I think Michael always felt she just didn├óΓé¼Γäót care for the situation. He probably felt there was little sympathy from her, toward him and Cameron.”
It’s disapointing to hear that the two have separated, especially after they showed so much support for each other after they each tackle major medical issues.
We’re still holding on to any shred of hope that Catherine and Michael are able to work things out soon.
After all, they have been through an awful lot together.
