The First Official Trailer For 'Cats' Is Finally Here -- Watch!!

AT LAST!

A glimpse at the highly-anticipated Cats movie has finally debuted on Thursday, showing Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Rebel Wilson, James Corden, Jason Derulo, Dame Judi Dench, and more stars take on their roles!

But this isn’t just any official first look; this is the first trailer!

Up until now, there have only been minimal details about the Tom Hooper-directed film, but we have been blessed with the expected release date (December 20, 2020), the characters these A-listers will be playing (Idris as Macavity, Taylor as Bombalurina, Rebel as Jennyanydots, Judi as Old Deuteronomy, Jennifer as Grizabella, and so on…), and that it will be a live-action movie musical.

However, the new clip is giving us so much more (above)! Music! Dancing! Catnip! A sexy Swift feline!

Only wish there was more J. Hud!

We have never seen anything quite like this, but with our fave stars as cat-human hybrids! We have a feeling you’ll be seeing them tonight in your dreams (or nightmares) depending on how you feel about the look of it!

These Jellicles certainly delivered there!

It was just on Wednesday fans got to see a behind-the-scenes look at the movie, though there didn’t seem to be any motion capture, which Hooper teased at last year’s CinemaCon would be how the cats were designed.

Now we finally get what he meant!

Still, seeing the stars grace the oversized set made it all feel more real! See (below) in yesterday’s teaser:

Speaking in the clip, Taylor recalled her experience with theater in her own performances, saying:

“My first memories of performance go back to when I was in Pennsylvania growing up. My favorite thing was getting to be theatrical, to tell a story and I’ve always brought that sort of narrative element to my live shows.”

And she kept it going when she ended her Reputation tour before arriving in Britain to work on the movie:

“I came right off of a stadium tour and went right into rehearsals. [We] have people coming together from all different corners of entertainment. Everybody’s working really long hours, rehearsing every day and it’s fun.”

Well, you can watch all the fun in the very first trailer, and let us know what U think in the comments down (below)!

Will U be catching the film when it hits theaters??
