David Eason to the rescue?
Historically speaking, most 911 calls regarding Jenelle Evans and her family have to do with her pipe wielding husband doing something awful, like (allegedly) domestically abusing the Teen Mom 2 alum or (admittedly) killing their family dog, Nugget.
But in the weeks since couple lost custody of their children, it appears the tables may have turned: David is now making the 911 call, and he’s accusing Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans of some very sloppy parenting.
According to dispatch audio obtained by TMZ, the 30-year-old said Babs locked their two-year-old daughter Ensley in a bedroom so she could take a shower, but was unable to get the door open — and the little girl was left trapped and hysterical.

As he explained, David was not at his mother-in-law’s residence when the call was placed. He claimed Jenelle’s nine-year-old son, Jace — who, has been placed in Babs’ care by the court — was the one who told him Ensley was locked in the room and freaking out.
Eason also made sure to tell the dispatch operator to file a report with child protective services; however, the operator told Jenelle’s hubby he needed to do that himself.
A source told the outlet Babs was eventually able to get Jenelle’s youngest child out on her own. It’s unclear if David ever followed up with CPS, but we’re sure he wouldn’t miss the opportunity to tip the child custody scales in his and Jenelle’s favor.
As we reported, the couple lost custody of her three kids after Eason shot and killed the family dog for allegedly snapping at Ensley. Jenelle’s five-year-old son Kaiser, meanwhile, has been in the care of his father Nathan Griffith.
Aside from waiting for Barbara to screw up, the couple are hoping to get back their kids by enrolling in marriage counseling and parenting classes. David has also reportedly scheduled a psychiatric evaluation to discover the root of his anger issues.

But it appears they have a bit of a long way to go, as CPS described their home life as “horrific” during Jenelle and David’s court hearing last week. A Radar Online insider said of that hearing:
“The judge told Jenelle that she failed to protect the children while they were in her care… The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified… [Child Protective Services] described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy, and there were holes in all of the walls… Jenelle was sobbing in court… Jenelle believed that her lawyer was going to be able to get her children back and she seemed stunned when this happened.”
Yikes.
Sounds like it’ll take a lot before the scales tip back in their favor!
