Disney Officially Bans Selfie Sticks From ALL Parks!

Wow! The selfie stick is getting NO love these days!!
Disney followed a pretty popular trend that’s been going on lately and announced that they will soon be BANNING selfie sticks from all of their theme parks!
That’s right! From Anaheim all the way to Hong Kong, Disney is making sure their parks are completely selfie free for safety reasons!

While they have already banned the annoying contraptions from rides — wow, THAT could get dangerous — a FULL ban will begin on Tuesday June 30 for Disneyland and Disney World parks.
The ban will go into effect the next day for Disney locations in Paris and Hong Kong!
Attendees who bring a selfie stick will be allowed to check them in at the front gate before they enter the park, but Disney is encouraging visitors to simply leave them at home!
This news comes shortly after Comic-Con and Cannes put similar bans into effect, and this is a trend we’re starting to see more and more!
So naturally we have to ask: is this the death of the selfie stick???
