East Harlem Explosion First Responders Saved A Young Boy & His Prized Possession From The Rubble! Read Their Heartfelt Story HERE!

harlem building boy saved
Nearly a full day after the tragedy in East Harlem, the death toll is still on the rise as they continue to pull bodies out of the rubble from the gas explosion that rocked multiple buildings on Wednesday.
Luckily for one little boy, though, he’ll live to see another day—thanks to some amazing first responders that heard his cries for help.
David Cesario and Alex Camilo were among the heroes that rescued a young boy trapped under rubble immediately after the explosion.
The little one, who is probably between 7 and 10 years old, was holding on tight to his PlayStation controller when the two men found him scared and in pain.
Alex told reporters:

“He was hurt. He was bleeding a lot and he was just saying, with his eyes open, to help him. We just grabbed him and brought him down to the cops and went back.”

The brave men were battling with hot bricks and broken glass as they dug the child out of the collapsed building—so it’s a lot more difficult then he’s making it out to sound.
David revealed what he told the youngster when he was finally able to get a hold of him:

├óΓé¼┼ôI said, ‘Don├óΓé¼Γäót worry, you├óΓé¼Γäóre going to be okay, so just don├óΓé¼Γäót move.'”

We’re sure the boy is upset about the rest of his Playstation, but we’re so happy the responders were able to get to him so fast!
Our thoughts are with all the victims families and those who are still unaccounted for.
