Who would ever regret being on the most popular sitcom of all time?! Answer: Elle Macpherson, apparently.
In a new interview with TV Week, the model admits that she probably wouldn’t have signed on to play Janine — AKA Joey’s hot roommate — on Friends if she had known how successful the series would become!

The gorgeous gal dished:
“If I’d known how important it was in the US, or how long it would be on TV, I may not have chosen to do it.”
HUH?!
We’d think everyone would feel the opposite, and be really grateful or surprised that the show turned out to be so iconic. But, Miz Macpherson is actually stressed by the success, explaining:
“It was a lot of pressure if you look at it in the way that it will be around for 20 or 30 years.”
We guess that’s fair, but it doesn’t really make a lot of sense. She obviously didn’t know before she appeared in those five episodes that the show would be so huge.
But based on this weird perception, we bet Elle is glad her run was brief, then! Apparently, producers wanted her on more episodes, but she couldn’t commit because she was “living in London.”
Even though she regrets the part, we wonder if she regrets those residuals for the rest of her life?! LOLz!
