So it’s fitting that this Friday, both MTV and Logo TV will simultaneously air her docu-series Laverne Cox Presents: The T Word at 7PM ET/PT — hosted and executive produced by the inspiring lady herself!

The one-hour documentary will expose viewers to seven transgender youth, and how each live their lives as the person they were ultimately meant to be!
In lieu of the premiere, Miz Cox has decided to prep audience members with a few things she believes everyone should know about the transgender community — and it’s totally enlightening!
