French Montana Said WHAT In Defense Of R. Kelly?!

If you don’t mind us asking politely, French Montana… WTF were you thinking defending R. Kelly like this?!?!?!
TMZ caught the rapper coming out of the L.A. Coliseum on Saturday night at the end of the Los Angeles Rams‘ playoff NFL win over the Dallas Cowboys, and right about now, French is probably wishing he never said anything.

That’s because Khloe Kardashian‘s ex said some eyebrow-raising stuff in defense of the disgraced R&B singer, as you can see in the interview video HERE.
Among the weird, insensitive, and tone-deaf things French said? Invoking Michael Jackson‘s name before actually letting these words come out of his mouth (below):

“All the greats went down like that. Let somebody enjoy their legacy. Whatever happened, happened, man.”

Um… what???
First off, does French know it’s absolutely not a compliment to invoke MJ’s “legacy” and history to compare to R. Kelly’s current situation?! That’s not actually a good thing!!
Beyond that, ‘whatever happened, happened, man,’ is quite possibly the most tone-deaf thing any man has ever said in the post #MeToo era! So, uh, congratulations to you, French? Crazy!!!

But the rapper doubled down, later telling the camera crew that people should NOT stop listening to R. Kelly, because (below):

“They [people] don’t let nobody have their legendary moments.”

Legendary. Moments.
There it is, y’all! The dumbest, most insensitive thing we’ve ever heard, about anything, ever. French, man, read the room or something!!!
Come to think of it, can we just cancel French Montana right now? We wouldn’t want to let him have his own creepy “legendary moments”!
Just sayin’!
