Poor Kelly Rutherford!!!
The Gossip Girl actress is on the “brink of bankruptcy” because of a ongoing custody battle for her kids that shows no signs of stopping!
Rutherford has a son named Hermes and a daughter named Helena who live with their father Daniel Giersch in Monaco.
And even though the mother shares joint custody with her ex – a judge ruled last summer that her children should live primarily with their father, and Rutherford barely gets to see them!
So she’s been trying to have them relocated to the United States, but the legal process has proved to be not only lengthy but expensive!
Here’s what she said:
“[I’ve] spent every penny. Every penny from Gossip Girl, my pension, my stocks has been spent fighting for my children.”
Rutherford does visit them rarely, but it always leaves her and her children wanting more!
Here’s what she said:
“Having to peel my son off my body, screaming, ‘Mama, save me!’ when I had to give him to his father├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥not because he doesn’t love his dad, but because he’s too young and it was like a forced thing.”
That’s so sad!
The father used to reside in the States, but his visa expired that allowed him to live there!
Hopefully these two can figure out a way where they can BOTH be there for their children!
