Target Shows Their Support For Gay Marriage With New PRIDE Tees

In less than two years Target‘s gone from pissing off gay marriage supporters to infuriating same sex marriage opponents!
The bulls eye retailer is now under fire for selling a collection of PRIDE t-shirts, including one that was designed by Gwen Stefani, that will help raise funds to defeat a gay marriage ban in Minnesota.
According to a Target spokesperson the t-shirt promo was organized by a group of employees and they’re more than happy to be supporting a great cause:

“Target is pleased to be able to bring our guests products they want while, in turn, helping support the LGBT community through the donation of 100% of the purchase price to the Family Equality Council.”

Meanwhile, Minnesota for Marriage‘s Chuck Darrell thinks Target should keep their nose out of the “business of trying to redefine marriage”. He adds:

“Target is attacking traditional marriage, which is an incredibly misguided thing for them to have done. It’s an insult to the overwhelming majority of their customers.”
