Hailey Bieber may not be naming names, but it’s pretty clear who she’s talking about in this new interview…
Justin Bieber‘s wife sat down with the folks at British Vogue this week to talk about her future plans for making a difference in the world, and it sounds like she wants to start with something she’s got a lot of recent experience dealing with: empowering women, and avoiding “false” social media drama!

The23-year-old has pretty clearly been trying to cool the jets recently on a rumored social media feud with Justin’s ex, pop singer Selena Gomez. And judging by her comments in this interview, well, hopefully by now it’ll be pretty clear that whatever animosity may have been there before is long gone now — at least as far as Hailey is concerned!
The young model, who British Vogue describes as having “a wise head resting on very young shoulders,” has big goals for herself in 2020. But it’s interesting to see how simple they really are, as she explains in this quote from her interview with the outlet (below):
“The biggest goal for me for 2020 is to get more involved in things that make a difference. There’s so much going on in the world. I would love to get involved in as much as I can and lend my voice to as much as I can, and I would love to speak on more things and talk to young women and encourage people to continue making a difference. I’m passionate about women taking care of women. We’ve come a long way already, especially in terms of women’s employment and women having each other’s backs. But I think we can do better — especially when it comes to educating younger women and the younger generation. I think we all just need to be a lot nicer.”
Women taking care of women… women having each other’s backs… educating younger women… all of us needing to be a lot nicer…
Hmmm… there seems to be a theme here!

After running the media gauntlet for that perceived slight against Selena in late October, the young wife continues to throw up the white flag on whatever budding feud may have been simmering between the two young women.
And even though she never explicitly names Selena in this talk with the mag, you’d have to be pretty dense not to figure out who Mrs. Bieber is referring to with this quote:
“I think social media is a breeding ground for toxicity and people creating false drama between women and trying to put women up against each other and create these narratives that are just toxic. I think that has to change and that has to stop.”
Aaaaaaand with this one, too:
“I think there needs to be more people with platforms coming together and saying to each other, ‘Let’s kill the conversation, let’s kill the fake drama, let’s squash all these things, let’s move on from stuff. Let’s not give people a reason to fuel fire and create drama and being rude to each other.'”
Well put, Hailey!
Clearly, Justin’s wife is more than ready to squash the beef with the Canadian pop star’s ex-GF… so, we suppose the ball’s in Selena’s court now?
