Protesters Risk Arrest & Get Sprayed With Chemicals To Resist Drumpf's Inauguration!

Inauguration Day protests are under way!
It’s Inauguration Day, but it’s also a day of massive protests! Thank God!!!
Protesters gathered at various security checkpoints near the Capitol in Washington, D.C. Friday morning and afternoon. Police dressed in riot gear (of course) had to provide assistance to inaugural ceremony ticket holders as protesters held up signs and chanted all around them.

The march was called a “Festival of Resistance” by organizers and ran about 1.5 miles to McPherson Square, a park located only three blocks from the White House.
A rally featuring Michael Moore was planned at the park, while the ANSWER coalition set up demonstrations along Trump’s parade route.
The DisruptJ20 coalition was one of the main organizers of the protest event, encouraging people to shut down celebrations even if they had to risk arrest.
In fact, lines for ticket holders encompassed several blocks due to protesters causing major traffic at the entrances.
On Thursday, protesters and Trump supporters butted heads outside a pro-Trump event, and police used chemical spray on some in an attempt to stop the unrest. Meanwhile, others gathered outside the National Press Club in downtown Washington to attend the “DeploraBall,” an anti-Trump ball inspired by Hillary Clinton‘s “basket of deplorables” remark against Trump supporters that came during the election.
Unfortunately, some people were sprayed with pepper spray and water as they engaged in protest. Another protest group promised free weed to participants.

It sounds like it was one crazy Friday that we’re sorry to have missed!
Moreover, the difference in crowd size from 2013 when President Barack Obama was inaugurated is staggering! Donald Trump must be pissed!

Further protests are planned on Saturday with the Women’s March taking place in D.C. and in other cities across the country, including Los Angeles, NYC, and Boston.
Get your butt out there if you can! #Resist!
