Things aren’t looking good for Jackie Warner.
You may remember, the former star of Bravo‘s Work Out was arrested back in February after driving her vehicle into a pole, then backing into the cops who arrived on the scene.
She has now officially been charged with misdemeanor DUI, misdemeanor hit-and-run, and felony assault on a police officer for almost hitting the cop approaching the car.

At the time, Warner claimed she had only had a single martini earlier in the day, despite blowing a .08% blood alcohol concentration — the legal limit. Warner’s defense? She had taken an Ambien while safely at home and was out sleep-driving.
Warner’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, says they’re ready to fight the charges — but that they should never have been filed in the first place! Holley tells TMZ:
“We have letters and reports from Jackie’s doctors which prove a long history of insomnia and which strongly support our contention that Jackie was driving unconscious after taking Ambien, which had been prescribed to her.
I reached out to the D.A.’s Office weeks ago and was assured that deputies would review our reports before filing charges. We are extremely disappointed that the D.A.’s Office filed these charges without reviewing our evidence, as promised.”
Ambien is strong stuff — but it can’t give you a higher BAC. And one can imagine that one martini does not make a .08, especially several hours later.
Was she also sleep-drinking? Hmmm.
