Despite being the  “Gammy” of the fam, Adrienne turns to the power couple that is her daughter and hubby Will Smith for marriage advice after remarrying three years ago — and Jada can attest to her strength:

“Sometimes people feel like they get into a hole so deep, they can’t get out, and that’s just my truth. It’s just mine. And, she’s living testimony to that. Gammy, you just keep building. I swear to God, I just think about her life from having a baby at 18, married at 18 … Willow’s age … look at Willow. My mother had me at her age and a crazy ass husband. Then, from that … that’s a hell of a journey, but that’s life.”

And Willow? She just turned 18, but is clearly wise beyond her years:

“The biggest rebellion is coming into your vulnerability and seeing that as a power. Once you get in touch with your emotions, you start to understand things in a whole other way. When you express what you feel needs to change, or what you feel is unfair or wrong, that’s so important, but the real agent of change is when you embody the truth.”

The trio also talked openly about sex, dating, and relationships in an accompanying video:

Willow eloquently explains:

“I would say that most of my friends do have boyfriends. There’s a revolution in relating that’s happening. I feel like, in order to evolve as human beings, we need to evolve the way we relate to each other.”

Before meeting future husband Will, Jada explains that the dating scene for her was always “coupled up”:

“You kinda went out with one guy and then you didn’t go out with that guy unless you wanted to kick it with them for a long time. My generation, you lost your virginity to your boyfriend or to your girlfriend. These days? You have young people that are like, ‘Look, I just wanna find a nice person.’ I’m like, ‘A nice person? That’s it?'”

And as for Adrienne, things were definitely very different:

“My mother wanted us to be totally well-rounded. We were dancing, we were taking ceramics. I just raised Jada the way I was raised, so I kept her in classes and her time was always consumed. When I was in high school, my last year of high school, I was pregnant and married. So my focus was a little bit different than everybody else’s.”

Honestly, we still can’t get over that the three of them look SO alike and SO good!
