How are Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright still together???
While the twosome are currently better than they’ve ever been, back when they filmed this season of Vanderpump Rules, the duo were in a SERIOUS rough patch. Specifically, Jax wound up in the doghouse for cheating on the Kentucky native with Faith Stowers.

Although Brittany forgave Jax for being unfaithful, it seems Taylor’s crimes were far greater than anyone expected. On top of sleeping with another woman, Jack allegedly told his mistress he would “never” marry Brittany.
We’ll get to that, and more, in the recap (below)…
The episode kicked off with both Brittany and Jax confiding in their friends that they’ve chosen to work through their issues and stay together. As Cartwright explained to pals Kristen Doute and Katie Maloney, she loves Jax too much to not give their relationship another chance, Mr. Taylor eloquently told his bros, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval:
“I got community service ├óΓé¼┬ª on her vagina.”
Such a class act.
For a brief moment, things seemed to be alright among Lisa Vanderpump‘s staffers as Jax and Brittany planned a housewarming party. They even shared a couple of kisses during a shared shift at SUR.
However, it didn’t take long for drama to hit the squad once more. As the VPR cast got drunker and drunker, little truths began trickling out. The dramz first started when Jax went off to have a man chat with bud Carter Brian. On his cheating scandal, Taylor admitted:
“I love Brittany. I love her to death and I want to fix this and I’m gonna fix this… if a fuckin’ squirrel would have looked at me with a fuckin’ vagina, I would have fucked it. I wanted the attention.”
Hearing Jax pour his soul out, Brittany came in and interrupted the conversation. This move resulted in the 38-year-old Bravolebrity verbally laying into his girlfriend. Castmate Lala Kent overheard this unsavory interaction and, rightfully, became pissed at Jax for speaking to his girlfriend in such a way.

Kent then dropped the mother of all truth bombs when she divulged to Ariana Madix:
“Not only did he fucking do what he did with Faith, there’s fucking audio on that phone of him saying he’s never gonna marry her, that they never have sex.”
WHOAAAAA. James Kennedy confirmed the existence of the tape, as he added in a confessional:
“Faith sent me the recording and I sent it to Lala.”
Man, oh man. As if things couldn’t get worse, Lala and Ariana chose to play the recording for Brittany, who did NOT take the news well.
Although the audio was not played on the show, it was clear that what was said was offensive to Brittany. She ended the night by screaming at Jax:
“You’re a piece of fucking shit. I’ve heard the recordings. You deserve to rot in Hell. Get the fuck out of here.”
Oof. The Jax/Brittany beef wasn’t the only memorable moment from Monday night’s Vanderpump Rules as Ariana got surprisingly candid about an emotionally abusive ex. ICYMI, Sandoval has whined for awhile that he and Madix are going through a dry spell.
Well, we’ve since learned Ariana’s side to this story, and it’s pretty emotional. During a shopping trip with Lala, Ariana shared:
“I don’t want anyone touching my vagina, pretty much ever. I’m uncomfortable with my vagina. I was in a really mentally and emotionally abusive relationship where I was told my vagina was disgusting, and my cellulite, and, ├óΓé¼╦£Why do you wear that?’ And, ├óΓé¼╦£Why don’t you dress like this?’ And ├óΓé¼╦£How come you don’t look like those girls?’ And those things don’t go away.”
Poor thing. She further explained in her confessional:
“I’ve always had these issues with my self-esteem, with my body, these things from my past. And when Tom and I started dating, I think the newness of it was just so exciting, I kind of just didn’t hear it in my own head. And then as the relationship matured and grew, that real stuff from my past has just developed into this huge monster that now takes up a big space in my head.”
We’re honestly so impressed with Ariana for being brave enough to share her story.
