Jessica Simpson and hunky hubby Eric Johnson threw a party on Sunday, and it was a Maxwell Mash!
A source who attended the little gal’s gala said even though the party was for Maxwell’s first birthday, it was fun for all ages.

“The party was planned by Mindy Weiss and held in the backyard of Jessica’s new Hidden Hills home. She was excited to celebrate Maxwell’s birthday there and show off her new house.”
Mindy Weiss must have done a bang-up job on Ace‘s baby shower, because Jess had her right back to celebrate baby number one!
Or should we say toddler? One year means Maxi is getting a little old for this whole baby thing! She had her own grownup activities at her party! The source says:
“They had a coloring table and face painting and lots of kids were playing with beach balls on the grass.”
A coloring table is like a coloring book, only if you go outside the lines and get crayon all over the table, you’re doing it right! LOLz!
