John Legend‘s baby-to-be is already his musical collaborator!
In a recent interview, John opened up about his New Year’s resolutions and how they play into his next big role: fatherhood. Considering the singer and his wife Chrissy Teigen struggled with fertility, you can only imagine the level of excitement.

Revealing his goals for 2016, J.L. expressed:

“I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions. I do like, ‘new albums resolutions’ where I focus on what I want to do for each album cycle and what I’m trying to do creatively with each album…and then in my personal life, I want to be a great dad.”

Aww! We have no doubt the hit maker will be an awesome poppa!
The 36-year-old added:

“It’s already inspired me. I’ve already got some ideas that have come to me since we got pregnant. Definitely the idea of being a father is exciting to me and it’s inspiring some creativity in me.”

Well, this is GREAT news for fans of John’s music! We definitely have a feeling he’ll pay homage to Teigen’s amazing pregnancy glow!
Now all John’s baby momma has to do is pop!
