News of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard‘s divorce might still come as a surprise to some.
It seems these two hid any signs of turmoil in their relationship pretty well, despite months of reports that their union was on the rocks.

One source even explained to People that most recently at the Los Angeles premiere of Alice Through The Looking Glass, the actor showed no sign of his troubles. The insider shared:
“I never would’ve guessed he was going through a divorce, or anything like that. He looked great, considering. He looked more put together than in recent appearances, dressed appropriately for the occasion.”
The 52-year-old was even seen interacting with fans and joking around with his costar Sacha Baron Cohen, which was just two days before his soon-to-be former wife filed the papers.
Guess he’s not an award-winning actor for nothing!
Amber, similarly didn’t show any signs of distress, even when celebrating her birthday with just her girlfriends in Palm Springs at the end of April. A source said:
“They looked to be enjoying themselves.”
But according to a new report from People, the actress had cold feet from the start… at their engagement party!
An insider dished:
“Before Amber met Johnny she was just a regular super cool hipster chick living with roommates who dated girls. At their engagement party she kind of got cold feet… she was just like what is this scene and what am I doing here? She kind of couldn’t believe it was her life now.”
Yikes! Could that explain why just two months after getting married, there were already rumors of a split??
But as another source added:
“When Johnny Depp wants you, you don’t really say no. Why would you?”
So sad!
