Jon Voight is not happy with Shia LaBeouf and Miley Cyrus!
On Tuesday, the Ray Donovan actor accused the former Disney darlings of promoting “treason” for their participation in protests against President Donald Trump. Say, what now?

Angelina Jolie‘s father, who is a Trump supporter, is truly outraged by LaBeouf and Cyrus’ recent actions. As you may recall, the Holes star launched a live stream art protest against the Trumpster, titled He Will Not Divide Us. In regards to Miz Cyrus’ activism, the hitmaker was seen participating in the Women’s March in El Lay!
While chatting with the paparazzi, Voight expressed:
“When you see the young people, like Shia LaBeouf and Miley Cyrus, and they have a lot of followers, a lot of young people, what are they teaching? They’re teaching treason. They’re teaching going up against the government, not accepting the will of the people on this presidency. It’s a very sad day really when I see this.”
Ummm Jon, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. So don’t start lecturing us about the “will of the people.” *eye roll*
Despite saying he supported the marchers’ right to the first amendment, the industry vet criticized:
“But what was the march about? The march was against the government…and trying to denigrate his office and his presidency.”
Well, duh. Have you heard the crap Drumpf’s said in the past? Between p*ssygate and his recent executive orders, we don’t blame people for protesting.
But who knows, maybe Jon’s been too busy reading the Trump administration’s “alternative facts.” Ugh.
