Jordyn Woods may have started to move on from the alleged Tristan Thompson affair… but she’s not forgetting how tough the backlash was on her when the controversy was at its peak!
Kylie Jenner‘s former (and maybe future?) BFF was part of a panel discussion in Lagos, Nigeria on Wednesday when the 21-year-old Woods got candid about what she’s endured over the past couple months, and called it out for what she saw it as: bullying.

The controversial reality TV maven spoke candidly about her experience with the social media fall-out as bullying, linking the last couple months to some issues her own little sister has been having in school.
At one point, Woods told the audience (below):
“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world. I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman — in a just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have lived it.”
Wow! Very powerful — and suddenly, very real.
Woods, as you’ll recall, was called out pretty harshly by Khloé Kardashian just days after the alleged affair reportedly took place; Khlo, stressed out from all the Tristan rumors in the first place, later apologized publicly for lashing out at Woods, but the damage was done — and Kardashian fans and followers latched on to the anti-Jordyn Woods crusade.
For the last couple months, then, Woods has been living on the run — literally, at times, like when she was seen in London to discuss new projects, but more so figuratively, in trying to outrun a social media firestorm that’s followed her at every turn.

To say it’s been a tough few months for Jordyn is maybe the understatement of the year. And, sure, if she really did what’s alleged regarding Thompson, then she needs to own up to her role in the reported affair. But there’s certainly a double standard here considering Tristan hasn’t taken NEARLY as much heat from anybody, even as he continues to cavort consequence-free.
